hmmm... so called first post here...
hello all~~~ kk here...
was reading all of those separation posts just now...
felt a warm feeling in my hearts...
My first day in NH, wee pork thinks i am some idiot cuz i said hi...:x
many things have happened since then...
both good and bad,i guess...
both to me, and our dearest class...
but all in all, sec one was one of my happiest years i had had with all my new friends...XD

now sec 2...Its true that we entered sec 2 like some retards(DUH, we ARE retards.)...
and i remembered the fight our boys and girls had over the committee incident...
it was awful...
but through that, we grew...
to be more united...
our friendships with each other grew...
and best of it was that we sort of got back pretty quickly...xD
next came NDP...
at first our reactions were like," whad the hell? NDP? crap..."
but after a few practices...
we stopped hating it...
started liking it...
stopped complaining...
started to complement it...
when we had practices in the field...
we even "ganged" ms yeo...
we started talking to the AIs...
we started loving it...
we made new friendships...
at the national stadium...
we fooled around...
we had fun...
we complained only about the weather...
we started loving NDP...
we became more and more enthu...
we hated the cold chicken from KFC...
we watched Big Cock eat mayonaise like rice...
we waited for NSG to emerge from the toilet...
we did well during the performances...
and lastly, we had the best AI ever...
all these small little things...
make up a beautiful piece of our individual's lives' puzzles...
and also, one of the most impt piece...

i feel like blogging emo. but don't know why i feel quite happy. haha.

just suddenly remembered the crazy times we had as a class. and it made me feel very happy. i'm sure i'll always remember the sports day last year.

can you believe it? 206 has become last year. now we're moving on to different classes. 虽然不舍得.. but then it's also like 无所谓. haha. because we're still 206'06. and it's not like we're going to be estranged from each other. other then Zizhao, we'll still see each other most of the time. and we'll still have this blog. so i guess we should be happy.

happy that we knew each other, will continue knowing each other. happy that so many of us will miss 206'06.

Long time nvr post. First of all goin to say sry for nt posting any emo stuff.=( so i post now, hope it will not be too late lol. Besides all the events we had been through 2gether will nt be forgotten. We had been through so much n i did nt regret comin to this class at all=). We may hav ups n downs durin the past 2 yrs but i n glad we went through all tat. the funny times at class, especially at nsg class n sissy lee class.=) i would nvr forget tat. n how the ndp thinggy....
Intially, some of us go n bon the ndp but at the end we all enjoy it. (like xj eating mayo) Lol, becomin more n more emo. Also, the teachers we hav r nt bad lol. they try to change us n to me miss sathi is the best. Sad tat miss teo has retired cuz though we sometimes dun like her lesson
she still put in a lot of hard work to teach us. K enug of the emo stuff.

tmr sch is reopenin. We ar goin into seperate classes but i m sure we wun forgt each other. We r still quite near lol, 303, 304, 305, 306, 307 n 308. this post is probably going to be quite emo. so bear with me.

i actually thought of posting my compo here. then i thought it might be quite insincere to do so. because 2o6'o6 deserves the best, yea?

we've got the best AI during NDP.
we've had the best classroom on the first floor.
we've got the smartest people in our class.
we have the greatest mayonnaise eater of all.
we've got the best erhu player. the best english teacher.
there's a whole list of what 2o6 had and have.

1o6. that's where all of our journeys in nanhua started.
most of us were strangers in a strange environment. if you asked me if i could imagine our class the way it is this year at the beginning of last year, i would have said no. but i guess our class is one for surprises. the first being that we won the "Champion Class Award".

we've grown together as a class. from a bunch of immature 12-13 year olds to a bunch of immature 13-15 year olds who've managed to work together. from playing outside our classroom, to annoying the hell out of teachers TOGETHER. that's what we are. we're 2o6.

like what serene said, i felt that we truly bonded on Sports Day this year. the first day we put on our class tee. though we didn't exactly achieve the results that we wanted, who wouldn't feel happy when they hear their class screaming their hearts out just to cheer their classmates on?

then came NDP. who could ever forget NDP. dancing that tap dance, eating the same old KFC, watching xiejing eat her mayonnaise, asking why other people had ice-cream when we didn't. as much as we hated NDP, who could hate spending time with their friends?

and the greatest source of our unity? maybe it is because of those teachers who love to compare us with other classes, expecting us to be the same as them. i shall put an excerpt from my compo here.

"Now, we are 206. It has been nearly 2 years since we first saw each other, more than 2 months since NDP ended. We are different from other classes, like how other classes are different from us. We dislike being compared to other classes because we know that we are different from them and that is the common factor that is holding our class together."

1o6 .. with strangers from the beginning, slowly becoming friends! and then best friends! and then friends u can't live without!

It isn't easy adapting to a new environment from the start, but time slowly helps everyone to become FRIENDS.

& from the not so co-operative people last year! .. We became 2o6 this year la.

The first thing .. that made me think that .. 2o6 is STARTING to co-operate in year 2oo6 was the Sports Day!

Compare it with 2005 Sports Day .. Everyone was like HECK CARE HECK CARE.

& We din't even participate in 1 event in the Finals. So crap rite! Haha!

& This year! We have 2 groups participating! The 4x100m girls and 4x400m boys!

Woohoo we shouted like ???? hahahahaha! It's deafening.

& We took drinks for each other! Everyone wore the same class tee and cheer together.

This is simply !!! :D:D:D:D HAHAHAHA!

After that .. Events slowly helped to bond 2o6'o6 together! :D

& The BEST EVENT OF THE YEAR was NDP 2oo6!!

The realisation that NDP was over only hit me when I saw the repeat telecast of the parade on television. A bit laggy eh? But what many of you said when I asked, on the actual day, if you guys were excited, it's true to an extent. It did feel just like another rehearsal. So when that realisation hit me, I was like "Yes! My Saturdays are free again!" but at the same time, haha, I thought "Oh my God, I'm never gonna see these kids again!" Yea. I'm gonna miss you guys so much. In the flurry midst of rehearsals and preparations for NDP, my social life came to a halt and rehearsals became my asylum from the morons I see in camp everyday. Yes you guys are ten times smarter, less annoying, more appealing to be with than the people in camp. So despite me having to carry stores for you guys and everything, I enjoyed every moment spent together and I thank you for that.

I am very bad at making speeches. I had so much that I wanted to say in the bus on the last day but I couldn't form the words that were in my head. I really wished I could've said something more than a mere thanks. I really do hope though that you guys felt my sincere appreciation when I received the gift from you guys.

I'd like to extend the thanks in this form of letter. How I wish I can cover each and every one of you in 206 but time didn't allow me to get to know all of you in person. Having said that, my thanks go to EACH AND EVERYONE of you.

First and foremost, I'd like to thank of course,

the Class Chairman, Wen Xuan

for being the most responsible Sec 2 guy I know. Seriously, it's hard to find really responsible people nowadays and being it at such a young age, you'll grow to be a fine person. I know a lot of people my age (and even older!) that doesn't even have half the sense of responsibility you have. You're a gem and without you, my job would have been a lot harder and I wouldn't have as much fun with 206. Keep up the good work and all the best to you. Just take care of your knee okay? Thanks for stepping up, taking initiative and being a leader.

Haha. I enjoyed every moment of our "talk crap" sessions in the bus, at the stadium and whenever we had to wait for long hours before rehearsal starts. The first vivid impression I have of you was when you tried opening that wet tissue when you wanted to touch your nose with your tongue. You remember? Haha. You're really a tomboy! Besides being such a joy to be with, you also struck me as a person who doesn't need to be told what to do. It was when one of the army personnel asked for 2 guys to help carry food and water and stuff, and you questioned him, "why girls cannot carry meh?" and you went right ahead and grabbed the plastic bag and walked off. That"s an attitude I really admire and if you continue to speak your mind and practice what you believe in, you will go a long way. Thanks for all the entertainment, the lame jokes, the gossip.

What can I say about you? The reputation of 206 is in your hands. Haha. Really. I think when people think of 206, they think of Joel. And all for the wrong reasons. I still remember the first day I was at Nan Hua trying to get you guys to rehearse; you were always running around and disappearing (and you still do at every rehearsal!). And I remember seeing you getting punished by teachers again and again. "Joel and gang." Haha. You are a leader in your own way. You are the rebel, but without you I don’t think 206 would be as much fun. Honestly I think that the heart and soul of 206 lies in you. You can make things happen if you want to. As much as teachers are irked by you, I think you're the only person in class that can get along with anybody! The rebel that gets along with everybody. You're a living irony!

Stop dao-ing me! Haha. You and your outrageously funny depictions of teachers (especially Mr. Liu and Ms. Yap!). And of course not forgetting your eternal quest to be the most civilised person in the world! Thanks for making my days in Nan Hua so entertaining! I also admire your determination in proving people wrong. I remember you carrying that box of water for so long! Even I can't carry it that long without flinching!

Sighs. You're a handful. But at the same time you add that zest to 206! You and your fascination with promiscuity amuse me. Haha! I remember when I was in charge for group V W X; you were the most difficult to control! You were running around catching frogs and insects for goodness sake! And it was horror of all horrors when I saw you in 206. I was like "oh no, not him!" Haha. But you grew on me. When you were absent for one of the rehearsals, I actually missed your presence. You have that endearing quality that just needs a little getting used to. I'm glad I got to know you more in 206! You turn out to be one funny chap! Just don't get yourself into trouble with teachers so often okay?

This one took me some time to write. Not because I have nothing to write about but you are just… deep, for the lack of a better word. I think you're the most sensible person in class. Your ability to look very objectively at situations never cease to impress me. You have very matured views about issues and people, and I think it's very rare to find teenagers like you expressing such views at such a tender age. Usually people tend to be biased and one-sided but you are capable of seeing the better side of people, the aim of the whole game, the grand design haha. Okay I may be exaggerating but I can see that in you. Other than that, I remembered that you were the one that tended to Katherine when she fell. I think that's a commendable act. And oh, I think you have great taste in music! Yay for that! Haha!

I'm glad I didn't lose your valuables. I have to admit I was quite reluctant of holding on to it at first but then, some teachers are just a pain in the… you know where. Thanks for being the first one to actually trust me with your stuff.

Okay I'm gonna summarise the rest of you real quick but by no means am I discrediting you okay? It's just that time didn't allow me to get to know you better. Nonetheless I wanna say my sincere thanks for making my stay in Nan Hua memorable and enjoyable.

The rest of the girls: Xue Fen, Elaine, Wei Ru, Zhi Qing, Kelly, Jasmine, Likhoon, Yan Hui, Hui Juan, Jing Shi, Chu Hui, Rachel, Hui Rong, Xiaohui. I just didn't have the chance to get to know you better. I still remember the first day when I was marking attendance and I was walking around looking at each and everyone of you, you girls were so shy (or couldn't be bothered? I wouldn’t know better.)! Practically all of you avoided eye contact with me! Haha.

The guys: Gong Yi, Kaiwen, Hao Chen, Jun Hao, Jianloon, Zi Zhao. Well what can I say; you guys are different each week. Some days you guys get so crazy especially when Hong Xuan hypes everybody up with whatever's on TV Mobile hahaha. Other days you guys are so so quiet.

Once again I'd like to say thanks for being such an enjoyable class to be with. Makes me so envious that I didn't have such a good time in my secondary school.

One point to note, I realised that generally you complain a lot about why teachers hate 206 and I think that that's a good thing. It builds your class spirit, having something in common to bitch about. Can you imagine if Ms Yap wasn't Ms Yap? Shu Huan would have nothing to bitch about! Haha! Don't take it the wrong way and start bitching everybody now haha. What I mean is that what this class has that others lack from what I notice is class spirit/identity and you should be proud that 206 is famous, even for the wrong reasons. Now that you have the attention, all you guys need to do is turn the table around and prove to the teachers that you can do well in life, even when you're 'noisy', 'naughty', or whatever they call you. And if/WHEN you survive the whole ordeal, you can finally say to teachers/people/yourself that you did more than just study. You have a life and you have friends and you have an AWESOME class. One day you will look back and realise how fun school is, with all the teachers getting on your nerves. Now what's even more important is that you have to prove to yourself that you can do it, as an individual and as a class and I for one thing believe that you guys can achieve that. Whoa look at me preaching.

Haha. Having said that, I wish your class 206 all the best in life and good luck!

It was a long journey we had together, from rehearsals in school to rehearsals in the stadium to SYF to more rehearsals and countless previews and finally NDP itself. Finally, I GET MY SATURDAYS BACK!! Haha! Well, I will suffer some withdrawal symptoms from not having rehearsals on Saturdays and not meeting you guys and everything. Like I said, you guys were like my sanctuary from stupid people. But then again it's time for us to put what's past behind us and relish our free weekends once again!

What I'll remember most will be the countless amount of poking fun at each other (who likes who now? heheh..) and the laughter and the drama and Ms. Yap and the teachers and you. You guys were the best thing that ever happened to me in my 2 years of army.

I m sure that many of us will be relieve tat the whole ndp is over n i m no exception.But ytd nite, i actually felt tat i m goin to miss it. There was too mani last times...
It will be the last time we are goin to perform at the stadium.

For many, it will be the last time, we r goin to perform in ndp.

Hmm .. Everyone must remember Biology test on Monday about Sexual Reproduction and Issues on Sex .. Just don't get too high and forget to study ...
